We’re back!

We are glad to finally have the site up at the new hosting provider. We now run on a Quad Core Pentium with 2GB RAM and very much storage for all of your photos.

The move itself took a bit more time than we had hoped, and we hope you didn’t have too much trouble in that period. Anyway, now everything should work as expected for a long time.

New feature: Invite friends

We have made a minor update to the service today. You now have an option to invite people to be your friends on the service. You find the link below the “friend list” on the right. The people that you send mail to with the invite page will be added as friends with you when they join. We are also working on some new sharing features which will come soon!

We are working on implementing a few new features. Among these are uploading photos from mobile phones. We have checked out different approaches and have decided to go for a Java based program. What do you think about that? What would be most practical for you?

Another thing we are working on is the ability to share photos with friends. How is that working for you? Do you need any other “way” of doing it?

We are also very interested in hearing about how the Java applet for uploading photos work out for you, so please leave a comment

It has been some exiting days since our launch. We have now created a blog to better communicate with our users.

The latest news now is that we are working on a way to upload photos from mobile phones to our service. We look into many different solutions, but we haven’t decided which one to choose yet. We will post more on this later.
